With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray J. Abbey (Dalton, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 22, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clinton Ray Abbey and Esther P. Abbey; his daughters, Karen Mae Sebzda and Carol Ann Lawton; and his siblings, Edith, Robert, Byron, Fred and Betty Jane.

He is survived by : his wife Agnes; his children, Dorothy Rugg (Jim) and Douglas (Becky); his grandchildren, Brian Lawton, Antoinette Small, Dennis Sebzda (Cindy), Nicole Thurman (Dan), Mark Lawton (Jessica), Hannah Mawolo (Irving), Erin Rugg, Paul Abbey (Naomi) and Derrick Abbey (Kara); his great grandchildren, Matthew (Kasey), Angela Sebzda, James, Grace Lawton, Joshua, Danica, Nathaniel Thurman, Paul Jr., Cameron, Alexandra Abbey, Braelynn and Leander Abbey; and his sister Grace Johnson.
