He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Thomas J. Sheppard and Ethel Sheppard; his wife Peggy (Hughes); his children, Doug Sheppard and Lynda (Michael Hill); his grandchildren, Owen, Mason Yorty and Madalyn Sheppard; and his siblings, Robert (Mona Sheppard) and Charlotte (Thomas Ruby). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to the American Cancer Institute.
