He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Lamonica Sr. and Jenny Lamonica (Weikel); his sister Sharon Lamonica; and his son David Lamonica. He is survived by: his wife Sandra E. Lamonica of Danville; his children, Karen Scheuermann (Joseph) of Paxinos, Joseph J. Lamonica III (Christopher Lamonica) of Shamokin and NJ; his sister Grace Folini (Ben) of Mohnton; his grandchildren, Ashley Lamonica, Roland Lamonica, Todd Scheuermann, Christopher Lamonica, Austyn Lamonica, Noah Wydra, Joshua Lamonica, Brynlee Lamonica and Savannah Wydra; his great grandchild Theo Lamonica; his stepson Casey Wydra (Beverely) of Mt. Carmel; and his daughter-in-law Chloe Gilberthorpe of Elysburg.
