We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2020, at the age of 82, Muriel M. Shaffer (Danville, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Franklin Lewis Long and Ethel Margaret Long. She is survived by : her children, Clayton A. Shaffer (Julie) of Denver, CO, Duane L. Shaffer (Cathy Miller) of Danville, PA and Shari E. Johnson (James) of Bloomsburg, PA.; and her siblings, Lenore Fritz (Jay) of Bloomsburg, PA and Harry Long (Ginny) of Scottsdale, AZ.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Animal Resource Center, PO Box 439 Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
