He is survived by: his daughters, Shakira and Rachel; his grandchildren, Shamera, Derek Jr., Dylil and Amair; his great grandchildren, Dylan and King; his siblings, Donald (Francene), Darryl (Shelmyra), Dwayne (Eleanor), David, Narvelle, Frank, Renee, Loretta (Robert), Stephanie (Eugene), Robin (David), Sheena, Sandy (Jerome), Denise, Juanita (Phillip) and Latifa; and his close friend Smitty. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
