He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Esther E. Shaffer and Jonas U. Rudy; his wife Jeanne O. Rudy; his siblings, Karl, David and Theodosia Pae; and his children, Cynthia Miller, Deborah Rudy, Randy Rudy, Tammi Bortner and Donna Hudson. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, he asked that donations be given to Dauphin Recreation Association, PO Box 4, Dauphin, PA 17018 and Middle Paxton Lions Club, 1170 Stony Creek Road, Dauphin, PA 17018.
