He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hopkins and Dorothy Bullion (Monk); his former wife Jean Hopkins (Argus); his daughter Kimberley LaBadia; and his brother Kenneth Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Hopkins (Pucci); his daughters, Tracy Taylor (Mark), Sandra Haynes (Jeff), Kristine Martin (Bobby), Denise Pomeroy (Ernie) and Denine O'Connor (Stubblefield); and his sister Roberta Hopkins (Bob Brandenberg). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
