He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Gindlesperger and Lizzie Gindlesperger (Sala); and his siblings, Earl, Donald Gindlesperger and Alice Vallies.

He is survived by : his wife Jean Gindlesperger (Fochtman); his children, Marvin (Debra), Lou Ann Reckner and Deborah (Tom Harris); and his grandchildren, Nikki Simpson (Mike), Steve Gindlesperger (Autumn), Justin Gindlesperger (Vicki), Kimberly Reckner and Robert Reckner (Brianne). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint David's Church (401 N Main St, Davidsville, PA 15928).

Family suggests donations to the following: St David's Lutheran Church, Windber Hospice, and St Jude's Children Hospital.
