He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin K. Alderfer and Dorothy R. Alderfer (Rohm); and his wife Patricia A. Alderfer (Hunsicker). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert M. Alderfer (Ann) and Hazel S. (Al DeBenny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
