It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bednarz of Dickson City, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Bednarz; and her parents, John Lenko and Benedicta "Betty" Manetti Lenko of Paul's Church. She is survived by: her children, Stanley (Lisa Karwowski) and Larisa Zbach (Shawn); her grandsons, Shawn and Austin Zbach; and her siblings, Ann Marie Updegraff (Glenn) and John Lenko (Nancy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1510 Penn Ave, Scranton, PA 18509). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's Church.
