With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell E. Heikes (Dillsburg, Pennsylvania), born in East Berlin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 26, 2019 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Heikes and Hattie Heikes (Hoak); his stepdaughter Kathy A. Albert; and his sister Euphemia "Phoebe" Cullings. He is survived by: his children, Michael L. Heikes of Williamsburg, VA, Nancy E. Durnin of Carlisle and Luanne M. Dunham of Richmond, VA; his stepdaughters, Pamela J. Miller of Dillsburg and Patricia J. Hoke of Wellsville; his siblings, Burnell M. Heikes of Dillsburg, Juene Hamm of Dillsburg and Eileen Klugh of Dillsburg; and his grandchildren, Sara, Rachel, Macon, Casey and Gregory. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
