He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Detwiler and Manon Detwiler (Jones); his grandchildren, Brittany Lee Beam and Austin Cole Detwiler; his siblings, Saundra Hoover and Timothy Detwiler; and his parents-in-law, Emerson and Loretta Gamble.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Detwiler (Gamble); his children, Dana Detwiler, Danielle Krevetski (Gregg) and Todd Detwiler (Khristi) of McGahneysville, VA; his grandchildren, Alysha Overdorff, Cody Overdorff, Megan Rupert (Jack), Andrew Beam of Serving, Navy, Persian Gulf, Michael Krevetski, Brook Detwiler and Riley Detwiler; his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Malcom Rupert; his siblings, Dian Detwiler, Charles Detwiler (Becky) and David (Margaret); and his sister-in-law Mary Detwiler.
Memorial donations in Wes' name may be made Rheumatology Research Foundation.
