He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKenna and Jane O'Connell McKenna; his brothers, Mike and Billy; and his brother-in-law Kevin Karl.
He is survived by: his children, John III (Janeen) of Delaware, Kevin (Janelle) of Hazleton, Jessica Small (Chris) of Kutztown and Bridget Stiefel (Michael) of Mountain Top; his grandchildren, Jacqueline McKenna, Jason McKenna, Mackenzie Stiefel and Paige Small; his siblings, James McKenna of Lake Tahoe and Mary McKenna of Philadelphia; and his sisters-in-law, Helen McKenna of Drums and Colleen McKenna of Exeter. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
