He is survived by: his wife Jeanette C. Micene (Piro); his children, Elaine Judd, Judith Kaiser (Herbie) and Philip Micene; his grandchildren, Greg Judd (Lani Trovich), Kevin Judd, Valerie Judd, Brian Micene (Leah), Emily Gronski (Brian) and Nicolas Micene (Amanda); his daughter-in-law Pam Micene; and his sister Catherine Christoforotos. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
