She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel M. Neely and Ada Neely (Grove); her spouse Cloyd Onkst; her children, Bonnie L. Plemper and Robert H. Onkst; and her grandson Robert W. Shelow.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Shelow (Wayne) of Robesonia and Joan Balthaser of Hamburg. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; a sister.
