He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Claar and Della Claar (Claar); and his siblings, Emerson, Taylor, Curtis Claar, Stella Stern, Florence Musselman, Edna Claycomb and Mary Ayers.
He is survived by: his former wife Eleanor Ruth Musselman; his spouse Duncansville; and his children, Carol Kinsey (Ronald) of Mohrsville, Donna Weyant (Richard) of King and R. Brian Claar (Elaine) of Camp Hill. He is also survived by three grandsons and one granddaughter and one great grandson and four great granddaughters.
