It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Comes (Dunmore, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Angelo Comes; her parents, David Hughes and Edith Dixon Hughes; her stepmother Frances Caputo Hughes; and her siblings, Grace Carey, David and William Hughes.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Janice) of Gouldsboro and Louis of Scranton; her granddaughters, Krista Howard (Gary) and Janine Gebhardt (Danny); and her great grandchild Emily.
