She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil C. Steele and Genevieve Knolles Steele. She is survived by : her sister Joni; her friend Nannette Good; her brother-in-law Edward A. Rothbun; her sister Marcia Knolles Rathbun; her wife Connie Knolles; her nieces, Julie Rathbun Vilar, Jan Rathbun Howell, Susan Rathbun Kern and Abby Knolles Koperski; and her cousin Glenda Shores.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Bradford County Humane Society Ulster PA in Joyce's Honor.
