It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Evankovich (East Brady, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John W. Evankovich and Jennie Vinka Trinastic Evankovich; his former life partner Mary DiGiammarino Evankovich; his wife Marie Shumaker Evankovich; and his siblings, Mary Anderson, Margaret Pollock, Edna Zidek, Col. Irene Evankovich and John Evankovich.

He is survived by : his daughters, Mary Irene Gaiser (James) of Bradys Bend and Grace Henry (Larry) of Butler; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gaiser, Jarrod Gaiser, Beth Ann Jackson (Joseph), Kristen Henry and Christopher Henry; his great grandchildren, Harlow Gaiser, Joseph Jackson and Grace Jackson; his sister Phyllis Bayes (Rick) of Weaver, AL.; his stepsons, Mike Shumaker (Diana) of Karns City and Kenneth Shumaker (Molly) of Florida; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lilliana and Alaina Fierst.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed.

The Evankovich family suggests that memorials be made in Mike's name to St. Mary's Cemetery, 915 State Route 68, East Brady, PA 16028.
