He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Conner Griffie; his children, Renee Wetzel (Kevin) of Sligo, Christina Cashmere (Keith) of East Brady and Dustin Griffie (Melissa) of East Brady; and his grandchildren, Cheyanne Smith, Kya, Kolstin Wetzel, Jase and Emalyn Griffie.
