Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mitchell leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kathleen G. Barnes Hertzler; his parents, James Hertzler and Faye Gehman Hertzler of Barto, PA.; his sons, Ryder James, Bryce Miles and Mitchell Finn; and his brother Troy (Ashley Kochel Hertzler) of Barto, PA.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Petra Church (565 Airport Rd, New Holland, PA 17557).
