She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin C. "Bud" Welty Sr. and Esther P. Welty (Hite). She is survived by: her children, John K. Bertok of Liberty Borough, Karyn Bertok of Liberty Borough and Mark Bertok (Kristin) of Port Vue; her grandchildren, Austin, Kelsey and Canon Bertok; her brother Edwin C. "Bud" Welty, Jr. (Clara) of East McKeesport; and her pets, Scooter, Peppie and Daisy. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
