It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean (Tong) Vestrat (East McKeesport, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Norma leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Tong and Marjorie Tong (Cooper); her husband Lawrence Vestrat; her daughter-in-law Ruth Vestrat; and her stepsiblings, Jack Tong and Alberta Kear.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Vestrat of North Versailles and Glenn Vestrat (Sarah) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her grandson Douglas Vestrat.
