He was predeceased by: his father Regis Hovan; and his granddaughter Madison Mae Miller. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Benaquista; his wife Vera Hovan of East McKeesport, PA; his children, Tiffany Hovan (Jesse Berkavich), Kim Miller and Richard Miller (Jessica Vanhorn); his grandson Ethan; his children, Mackenzie, Alivia, Conner, Morgan, Sidney and Baileigh; his brothers, Gary Hovan (Jennifer), Mark Hovan, Keith Hovan (Carrie) and David Hovan; his stepsiblings, Marc Frediani (Kristina) and Monique McDaniel (Brian); and his stepparents, Thelma Hovan-Gates and Mario Fredani (Phyllis). He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; and cousins.
A reception was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc. (1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131).
