He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Friend and Gladys Friend (Wilson). He is survived by: his spouse Robin (Loges); his son Strati "GJ" Friend; his brother Arthur; and his friends, Brunswick, MD and Henry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
