He was predeceased by: his parents, William Astromsky and Lottie Astromsky (Bogden); and his siblings, William, Jean Madl and Evelyn Kline.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy E. Ashbrooke Maresca (Mark) of Baldwin, NY, Karen Astromsky (Lou Rohman) of Edina, MN, Robert Astromsky of Margaret River, Rosemary Pepper (Nick Tangborn) of Austin, TX and J. J. Astromsky of Tannersville, PA; his grandchildren, Lilia Mannes, Natalie Mannes, John McArthur, Violet Beaudot and Audrey Beaudot; and the mother of his children Anne Astromsky (Nancy). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. John (5171 Milford Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Shawnee INN and Golf Resort (100 Shawnee Inn Dr, East Stroudsburg, PA 18356).
