She was predeceased by : her parents, Carmelo Brunello and Maria Teresa Brunello; and her son Marco Salerno. She is survived by : her siblings, Salvatore, Maria, Teresa and Angela; her husband Luigi Salerno of Sicily; her daughters, Maria Salerno (Ivan Bergaminelli) of Milan and Melissa Salerno (Keith Garcia) of Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Elly, Evelin and Benito.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church (200 Brodhead Ave, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301).
