He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Prekel and Stacia Prekel (Wnuk); and his siblings, Anthony Prekel and Bernadette Skoda. He is survived by : his wife Winifred Prekel (Sich); his children, Francis Prekel of Alexandria, VA, Winifred Watson (Roland) of Easton, Diane Johansson (Mikael) of Ft. Myers, FL and David Prekel (Laura) of Long Valley, NJ; his sister Julianne Donahue of Novato, CA; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Cristina, Gunnar and Magnus.
