He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Thornton, Sr. and Pearl C. Thornton (Engler); and his wife June E. Thornton (Nonnemaker). He is survived by: his stepsons, Rick Sostorecz (Sandy) of Wilson Borough and Jeff Sostorecz of Lee's Summit, MO; his siblings, Richard D. "Thunder" Thornton of Phillipsburg, NJ and Karen Ensley (Ronald) of Bangor; and his grandchildren, Brittany (Blake), Dylan (Sarah), Jeffrey (Kay), Samantha, Alexander, Ashleigh (Patrick) and Dominic. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
