He is survived by: his parent Linda Cavanaugh (Willever) of Easton; his husband William Cavanaugh, Jr. of Palmer Twp; his stepparents, David Strahler of Hawley, PA and Dottie Pettit Rute of Bethlehem Twp; his significant other Ashley Landis of Coplay; his brother Gary Rute Jr of Palmer Twp; his half-brother James Pettit of Bethlehem; his stepsiblings, Scott Strahler (Joelle) of Allentown, William Cavanaugh III, Loren of Bedminster, NJ and Tracey Willis (Leland) of Florida; and also Ellen of Hawley, PA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
