He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Hummel; his daughters, Louise Hummel and Lynn Corum; his son-in-law Jesse Corum IV; and his siblings, Katherine Herster, Frances Brandt, Dorothy Herster, Evelyn Richardson, Conrad Hummel and Frederick Hummel.
He is survived by: his parent Mabel Hummel (Grodwahl); his spouse Laura Jean Hummel (Livingston); his daughters, Jane Nishiyama and Marcia Strock; his sister-in-law Barbara Hummel (Hiney); and his child Rocky Point Drive of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
