With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Slaughenhoupt (Eau Claire, Pennsylvania), who passed away on June 20, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Slaughenhoupt and Marion Karns Slaughenhoupt; his siblings, Evan, Eleanor Yingling, Phyllis Garing and Isabel Tidd; and his son-in-law Don Mahood.

He is survived by : his spouse Gerre Wagner; his children, Linda Mahood of Parker, Edith Adams (Larry) of Foxburg and Richard Alan Slaughenhoupt, Jr. of Virginia; his grandchildren, Maggie Chandler (Rich) of Parker, Sara Dixon (Steve) of Morgantown, WV. and Joshua Alan Slaughenhoupt; and his great grandchildren, Eric Clinger of Morgantown and Ava Chandler of Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, PO Box, Parker, Pa. 16049, or charity of choice.
