He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Victor O'Dessa and Alice Murphy O'Dessa; his wife Janet Sovak O'Dessa; his daughter Dana O'Dessa Byard (Chris Byard); his grandchildren, Elizabeth and David Byard; his sister Lois Sechehay (Martin); and his siblings-in-law, Paulette Ross (Jim) and Paul Sovak (Stephanie). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
