He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Hapeman and Mary Hapeman; his wife Mary; and his siblings, Louise Hapeman, Marjorie Warmus, Eleanor Nash, Janet Clark, Roy Hapeman Jr., Lawrence Hapeman and Vincent Hapeman.

He is survived by : his children, Deborah Taliani (Rocco), Mary Kemm (William) of Erie, Bryan Hapeman (Sheri) of Mercer, Rebecca Harrison, Lawrence Hapeman (Cynthia), Cynthia Dillen (Eric) of Edinboro, David Hapeman of Mercer, Martha Minnock (Brendan) of Mercer, Sean Hapeman (Mindy) and Jay Hapeman of Mercer; and his siblings, Albert and Evelyn Basher. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11 a. m. All CDC guidelines requiring face masks and social distancing will be in place.
