He was predeceased by : his brother Sterling. He is survived by : his wife Norma "Chip" Scheller; his sons, David Scheller (Christina) and Michael Scheller (Wendy); his sisters, Eva Knecht and Dorothy Roth; his granddaughter Jenna; and his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Altemose and Matt Altemose.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 164 Merwinsburg Road, Effort, PA 18330.
