With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie C. Smith of Effort, Pennsylvania, born in Kresgeville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Floyd F. Smith; her parents, William Burger and Julia Burger (Serfass); her son-in-law Truman Burnett; and her siblings, Ida Kresge, Lillian Dorshimer, Elmira Miller, Mabel Bonser, David, William Harry, George, Robert, Roger, Stanley and Frank Burger.
She is survived by : her children, Bonnie Burnett of Saylorsburg, Dixie Borger (Robert) of Saylorsburg, Jane Gava (Glenn) of Effort and Scott Smith (Lynn) of Kunkletown; and her sisters, Sue Beers (Earl) of Kunkletown and Rose Smith (Kenneth) of Kunkletown. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Due to the pandemic funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
