She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Edward Whitfield and Mary Alice Hoffman Whitfield; her husband John L Ribel III; her children, Edward Jay Ribel (Lisa) of Canonsburg, Jason Z. Ribel of Eighty Four, Jody Crothers (Bob) of Canonsburg and Joyce Kosharsky (Mike) of Houston; her sister Joan Petro (Charles) of Washington; her son John L. Ribel IV; and her siblings, Charles, Amos, James Whitfield, Lillian Roskowski, Betty Phillips, Hazel Walters and Molly Lyle. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
