She was predeceased by : her parents, Hector Cartagena and Marcelina Montes Cartagena; and her siblings, Angel Davila and Migdalia Davila. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Spanish and Puerto Rican; her husband Robert Duane Smith; her daughters, Melissa Herrera (Estevan) of Venetia and Melody Smith; her stepdaughter Tera Barkey (David) of Finleyville; her grandchildren, Dravin Everley, Nina, Lorenso (Nico Collazo), Selena (Sylas Herrera), Camden and Tessa (Teighan Barkey); and her siblings, Joe Cartagena, Hilda Castoire of Philadelphia and Liliana Feliz of Philadelphia.
