He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, Stephan Kistler (Laura) and Kathryn Kistler Jones (Daryl); his sisters, Ann Shigo and Jean Sucher; and his grandchildren, Sam and Susy. He is also survived by 24 nieces and nephews.
