It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie A. Hainly of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, born in Palmyra, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Straub and Mamie Straub (Flory); her husband Allen Hainly; and her brothers, Herbert Wilson Straub and Franklin Roosevelt Straub.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Orwig and Robert Hainly (Shirley Newhart); her grandchildren, Heather Matthews (Chris), Brent Orwig, Julia Williams (Andrew), Joseph Hainly (Jessica) and Hillary Newhart (Nicholas Mazzetti); her great grandchildren, Ryan Matthews, Emily Matthews, Erica Matthews, Morrigan Williams, Caroline Hainly, Edith Hainly and June Hainly; and her sister Lucy Mae Straub.
