It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine May Calvario (Elkland, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Lawrence and Nellie May Baker (Van Gorden); her husband Vincent A. Calvario; her siblings, Floyd Baker Jr., Shirley Washburn, Gail Oberther and Stanley "Mugsy" Baker; her granddaughter Angela Chamberlain; her great grandchildren, Adam Burnside Jr. and Jesse Fisher; and her friend Ramona Stebbins of Sabinsville, Pennsylvania..
She is survived by: her children, Charles (Ann Chamberlain), Michael (Marian Chamberlain), Sarah (Robert Kerrick) and Vincent (Jacqulin Calvario). She is also survived by her four children, 14+ grandchildren, 28+ great-grandchildren, 27+ great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kenyon Funeral Home (214 W Main St, Elkland, PA 16920). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (111 First St, Elkland, PA 16920).
Donations can be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Elkland or a memory book in the Elkland Library.
