She was predeceased by : her parents, Shirley Booth and Richard "Dick" Carathers; her uncle John "Jack" Booth; her aunt Anita "Needie" Booth; and her grandparents, Katherine Milby and John Booth.

She is survived by : her sister Lisa Dawn Carathers Stanek; her husband Gregory Stanek of Ellsworth; her sister Christy Carathers Carmody (Chris) of Las Vegas; her aunt Naomi Babbitt of Libertyville; and her cousins, David Babbitt of Chicago and Kathy Hogue of Morrison.
