He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Samuel Sapienza and Jennie Tomei Sapienza. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Panella Port Sapienza; his children, Dave of Zelienople, Michael Sapienza of Zelienople and Jennifer Sapienza of New Castle; his stepchildren, Ron Port of Wexford and Stacey Hanna of Cleveland, Ohio; and his brothers, David Sapienza of Virginia and Leo Sapienza of California. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
