She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reynolds DeSantis and Mary DeSantis of Shamokin; her son Ross Peters (Ashley); her grandson Max; her sister Pat (Jay Valeyko); and her close friends, Mike and Kate Krepshaw. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Marianne's memory to Ralpho Township Public Library, 32 S Market St, Elysburg PA 17824.
