It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Anna Karnes of Emlenton, Pennsylvania, born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Eakman and Mina Eakman; her husband R. Burdette Karnes; her son Clark Karnes; her daughter-in-law Gina Karnes; and her siblings, Donna, Bill and Bob.

She is survived by : her children, Pam Smith (Larry) of Emlenton and Jeffrey A. Karnes (Jackie Jones) of Emlenton; her stepson Kevin Brown (Lori) of Huey; her grandchildren, Jeb Karns (Tonya), Teri Karnes (Chris Jack), Nicholas Smith (Mindy) and Shane Smith Malinda Myers (Tasha Simmons); her great grandchildren, Hayden, Lillian Smith, Abigail Myers, Audrianna and Gabriel Jack; her brother Sam Eakman (Rosie) of Harrisville; and her sister-in-law Mary Eakman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hile Funeral Home Inc. (1204 Kerr Ave, Emlenton, PA 16373). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 29th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
