She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Burris and Naomi Wedekind Burris; and her sister Connie Clifton. She is survived by: her husband James E. "Jim" Krug; her son Keith Russell; her siblings, Rick Burris (Dorothea), Bonnie Hanna and Carol Melinsky (Ralph); and her sister-in-law Julie Hughes.
