He was predeceased by: his parent Paul Jaffe. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Jaffe (Rodgers); his parent Frieda Jaffe (Schall); his children, Nancy Jaffe (Chris McCarthy), Rodger Jaffe, Jannah Jaffe and Richard Jaffe (Rebecca); his wife Catherine Lazarus; and his brother Julian Jaffe.
