We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2025, at the age of 85, Helen Newton of Emporium, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Bauer and Catherine Songer Bauer; her daughter Kira Leigh; and her siblings, James, Ben Bauer and Linda Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Newton (Deanna) of Brockway, Lynn Summerson (David) of Emporium, Ben Newton (Tara) of Emporium, Aaron Newton of Emporium and Heidi Aikens (Albert "Abby") of Emporium; and her sister Marilyn Bauer of Emporium. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (235 E 4th St, Emporium, PA 15834).
