He was predeceased by : his parents, Reuben Harrington and Evelyn Harris Harrington; his children, Edna Harrington and Reuben Harrington; his brother Benny Harrington; his stepdaughter Diana Ross; and his sister Lois Barr.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Campbell of California; and his children, Violet Sheridan, Margaret Woods of Emporium, PA, Teddi Ann Smith and Forrest. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
