It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Sassaman (Emporium, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his adoptive father Paul Sassaman; his brother Robert; his wife Shirley; his sons, Daryl of Woodbridge, VA and Richard of Palm Coast, FL; and his grandchildren, Dylan and Kayla.

Due to the present Covid-19 restrictions & his wishes, there will not be a visitation or a funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the May Hollow Sportsman's Association at 189 May Hollow Road, Driftwood.
